Chemical Safety Committee

The purpose of the Chemical Safety Committee is:

  • Develop technical information and projects on chemical safety activities

  • Off site consequence modeling

  • Chemical risk reduction

  • Chemical description fact sheets

  • Safe practices use by facilities that handle chemicals (Fact Sheets)

  • Process safety

  • Propane handling practices and sub group

  • Ammonia handling practices and sub group

Committee Activities:

  • Sponsor Best Practices meetings for member industries.

  • Sponsor seminars and conferences.
